| Doesn't it kind of "irk" you when you hear someone sneeze and you instantly say "Bless You" and that person doesn't respond. It kind of seems rude, but I guess they do not want to respond to a "God Bless You"... oh the G word.

| Well first off, I should mention that I am not biased on Vista just because I have it and I think its an okay platform, and I think equally of Leopard (which I've rarely used). And yes I have seen it crash only because I myself with my expanded PC knowledge, knows how to "trouble-shoot" Windows (Task Manager) and shut down a few programs which pissed it off and henced caused a crash... Wait, what am I talking about again? Oh yeah. The New Microsoft Ads. First off, its about time we actually see a Windows commercial since Mac and their marketing team have been so brute force ever since the Intel deal. I enjoy the Mac vs. PC ads but I think they can be too cruel sometimes to the point where I can totally agree with Maddox's "One thing PC users can do that Mac users can't" http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=macs_cant. Or maybe I just enjoy the anchor from the Daily Show (ie. PC). Either way, I can definitely say that Microsoft's new Seinfelds ads are (to me) very funny. And yes, the very first one with the shoe store and edible computers was... weird. But after a couple of times watching it, you start to find the humor. I've even read some blogs about "subtle messages" which kind of make sense. Either way I think they have promise. The second commercial came out today, and you can watch full-length uncut shorts at www.microsoft.com/windows. I enjoy how Bill Gates demonstrates the nerd he really is and I think he can be pretty funny. Either way, I think people should give them a chance and try to find the humor in it. PS. Two years with Vista and I still continue to find new things I never knew about it... fun! | | |
